How do I find a specific product?

There are two simple ways for you to find a product at hasifria.com.au:

 

Product categories – located in tabs at the top and left of every page, simply click on a tab and browse through the product category. Each category contains a wide range of products.

 

Keyword search – located at the top left of every page, use the search engine to find all products with a certain word or words in their description. Simply type in a keyword then click on the "go" button or press “ENTER” on your keyboard. For example, a search for “alef bet” will result in products from our dvd category, as well as products from other categories including building blocks, books, puzzles and dishes.

How do I buy a gift voucher?

Not sure about what gift to buy? A hasifria gift voucher is the answer.

 

Please note, we only post paper gift vouchers.  Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash, non-transferable, are valid for twelve months from the date of issue, and are only redeemable at hasifria.com.au.

How can I redeem a gift voucher?

If someone has bought you a gift voucher, shopping at hasifria.com.au is easy.  To avoid disappointment, please make sure you redeem your gift voucher before the expiry date clearly printed on the voucher.

 

To redeem a gift voucher, choose the payment option “gift voucher”.  You will then need to enter the voucher code clearly printed on the voucher and is unique to each voucher.

 

When redeeming a gift voucher, the amount paid for each product is the GST inclusive price.  Gift vouchers may not be used to purchase other gift vouchers.

 

Please note, if a gift voucher is not used at the time of purchase, it cannot be redeemed retrospectively.

What is the difference between a purchased gift voucher and a promotional gift voucher?

A promotional gift voucher is one received as part of a competition, incentive or offer.  Like purchased gift vouchers, promotional gift vouchers have an expiry date, and unique voucher codes.

Promotional gift vouchers can only be redeemed one at a time. For example, if you have two promotional gift vouchers, you must complete your purchase using one, then begin a new purchase to use the second.  The same applies, no matter how many promotional gift vouchers you have received.  Also, promotional gift vouchers cannot be used in association with purchased gift vouchers.  You are still able to "top up" any short fall by other payment means.

 

Is Goods & Services Tax (GST) included in your prices?

 

GST is included in all our prices. Australian law requires all quoted prices to be inclusive of GST. In the checkout and your tax invoice, the total GST paid is separately identified.

How do I use the shopping bag?

We have made using the shopping bag as easy as possible for you.

Adding items

Click the "buy" button to place the selected item in your shopping bag

Your shopping bag

The "my bag" summary screen displays all items that you have added during your online shopping session.  All items are automatically sorted into separate parcels according to their stock status (“available” or “soon to arrive”).  

Removing items

You can remove items from “my bag" simply by clicking the "remove" button for that item.

Increasing quantities

If you would like to order more than one of an item which is currently in your shopping bag, simply place the new amount in the quantity input box and then click the "update quantity" button.  Your shopping bag will automatically refresh and your order total will be adjusted accordingly.

Saving your shopping bag

If you want to return to your shopping bag on another occasion, you will be prompted to go to “checkout” where you can click on the “save my bag” button. The next time you log in to hasifria, you will be greeted with the “my account” screen which will provide a link to your saved shopping bag.

Cancelling your selection

If you decide, before paying for your items, to cancel your selection, you must click on the “cancel order” in the “my bag” window – this will empty your bag. Remember to then log out from your hasifria session too.

How do I proceed to the checkout?

New customers

If you have finished shopping and are happy with the items and quantities in your shopping bag, simply click on the "checkout" button.  You will be prompted to create a member account before actually entering the checkout.

Existing customers

If you did not log on at the start of your shopping session, simply enter your email address and member account password into the input box provided and then click the "submit" button.

How do I use the online checkout?

Once inside the checkout, completing your order is as easy as following these simple steps.  Please note, the steps outlined below are for unique orders, ie if you are arranging delivery to multiple addresses, you need to complete separate orders for each delivery address.

 

  

Step 1

Set your options

Select your gift wrapping options – select if you wish to have your parcel wrapped.


Add your personalised message – if you wish for a personalised message to be displayed in a small card attached to the gift, then type your message in the text box provided.

Step 2 

Confirm your delivery address, wrapping and gift card options, and select your payment method

If the delivery address is incorrect or if you are sending the parcel as a gift, you can change the delivery address by clicking on the "new delivery address" button. Please note that this will only change the delivery address for the current order.
 

Step 3

Payment


Select your payment method – credit card, direct deposit, gift voucher, promotional voucher, or offline payment.  

For credit cards:

·        select your credit card type from the drop down box provided – Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard

·        enter your credit card number

·        enter your credit card expiry month and year

·        enter the name as it appears on the credit card

 

Step 4

Verify your order details and place your order

Please ensure that you verify the delivery address, payment details and the items before continuing.  Once you are happy that all the details are correct, then click the "place my order" button to submit your order.

Step 5

Order placement confirmation

Once your order has been submitted to hasifria, a confirmation page will be displayed advising that your order has been successfully received.  An automated order confirmation and tax invoice will be available for printing for your records.

 

Can I add additional items to an already completed order?

Unfortunately additional items cannot be added to an existing unshipped order. Should you wish to purchase additional items, you will need to place a new order for those additional items.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept several forms of payment.

  

Direct deposit

hasifria.com.au accepts payments via direct deposit.  Select the option on the payment page.  You will then be provided with the bank details for the deposit. Please ensure you quote your order number when making the direct deposit.

Credit card

Purchasing online with your credit card is simple and convenient.  Simply fill in your details and we bill the purchase to your account.  hasifria.com.au accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Bankcard. 

Gift vouchers

If you have received a hasifria gift voucher, you can redeem it by buying anything apart from other gift vouchers.  Simply select the “gift voucher” option in the payment section and enter the unique gift voucher code. You may purchase any items that are greater than the value of your gift voucher by covering the additional cost through other payment means.

Promotional vouchers

If you have received a hasifria gift voucher, you can redeem it by buying anything apart from other gift vouchers.  Simply select the "gift voucher” option in the payment section and enter the unique gift voucher code. You may purchase any items that are greater than the value of your promotional voucher by covering the additional cost through other payment means.

 


Please note, your order will not be dispatched until your payment has been cleared.

 

It is worth remembering that paying online (credit card or direct deposit) will be the most convenient way for you to buy from hasifria.com.au.

Is it safe to use my credit card online?

Yes, it is extremely safe.

 

When transacting via our secure server, your credit card and personal details are encrypted using the latest industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 Bit encryption technology before being sent over the internet. 

 

When do you charge my credit card?

 

All online credit card orders are charged upfront, at the time the order was made.  We do this to validate the order.  Paying upfront also substantially reduces order-processing time, and ensures that all you need to do is sit back and wait for your delivery to arrive.

Will I receive a receipt for my purchase?

At the end of the payment process you will be presented with a confirmation page advising you that your order has successfully been received and containing your receipt number.  This page can be printed for your reference.  You will also be sent an automated email confirming this receipt number and your order.

My order has been declined, what does this mean?

Should you receive a declined order notification this means that your bank has rejected our request to debit your credit card, or deposit your cheque, for a number of possible reasons. Some of these include incorrect expiry date, insufficient funds, cancelled card or other.  If this occurs we are unable to process your order.

How much do you charge for delivery and handling?

hasifria will deliver items to any address in Australia and uses satchels from Australia Post’s "Express Post" service. Parcels bound for overseas destinations are also sent through Australia Post. For Australian or overseas deliveries, the shopping bag automatically states an approximate delivery charge based on one or more items so customers should appreciate that postage costs are only ever approximate. If a customer would prefer an exact costing of postage, they should email hasifria directly. Please bear in mind that hasifria passes on the cost of postage and does not make any money from postage.

In Australia, 1 item is $10.55 and 2 or more items is $14.80. Depending on the weight of any order, the price may vary.

 

For overseas orders, 1 item is $13.75 and 2 or more items is $25.00. Where possible, hasifria will endeavour to obtain a cheaper price and advise the customer accordingly. 

 

If there is a large difference between the quoted postage cost and the actual, customers will be notified of the delivery fee prior to payment being processed and the order will be sent once confirmation is received from the customer.  

 

hasifria will take no responsibility for delivery problems but will try to help should any issues arise.

What happens if some of the products I want am awaiting delivery into stock?

We try to keep stock on hand for all items displayed on hasifria.com.au.  However, stock levels may vary, so certain items may have gone out of stock and can’t be dispatched the day you have ordered.  All back-order items are delivered immediately once stock becomes available.  Regular delivery fees apply as outlined above – in order to minimise additional delivery fees to you, we would post all back-order items together.

How long does delivery usually take?

All orders are dispatched from Melbourne.  Generally speaking, deliveries take on average 3-5 business days to capital city destinations within Australia (sometimes longer outside capital cities), 5-7 business days to destinations in New Zealand, and 7-10 business days to Asia.

 

We are unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery times as all deliveries are undertaken using Australia Post’s standard parcel delivery service. 

My delivery has not arrived within the expected time frame. What happens now?

If you feel that your parcel has not arrived within the expected timeframe then please contact us and we will investigate further.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes, we deliver to overseas addresses.

 

hasifria will not be responsible for any taxes that may be required to be paid on shipment of the goods overseas.  This will be at your own expense.  For example, New Zealand customers please note, if you purchase over A$400 worth of goods, you will be required to pay a landing tax of 12.5% on your purchase.

Do you deliver to PO boxes?

Yes, hasifria delivers to PO boxes. A card will be left notifying you to collect your parcel from the post office during business hours.

What happens if I am not home to receive my delivery?

If you are not home to receive your delivery, generally a card will be placed in your letter box advising you to collect your parcel from your local post office.

What is your policy for returning items?

Please choose your items carefully as we do not accept refunds.  Generally speaking:

·         all items are non-returnable unless unopened in their original packaging and seals, or defective

·         gift vouchers and promotional vouchers are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Can I arrange for a product to be gift-wrapped and a card to be included?

Yes, if you are purchasing a gift for someone we would be happy to gift-wrap and include a written card (with your message).  This will incur a small fee of $2.00 for each product.  For example, if you have ordered four products and wish to have them all gift wrapped, the fee would be $8.00.

 

All gifts are wrapped using quality white wrapping paper and our hasifria ribbon.

Can I choose my own message?

Yes.  Under each of the gifts you have indicated you want wrapped with a card, is a text box in which to enter your message.  Please remember that the cards are small, so try to keep your message short and sweet.

How will my gift get to the person it’s for?

We can arrange delivery for you.  Alternatively, you can have the gift delivered to you if you wish to give it to the recipient in person.

“On order” refers to an order that has been received and is being processed.  An order that has been “dispatched” is in the hands of Australia Post.

Can I change my password, and if so, how do I change it?

You can change your password at any time.  Your old password must be entered to allow for this.

I forgot my password. Can you tell me what my password is?

By pressing the "forgot password?" button in the member login, you will be prompted for your email address and then provided with a password prompt that you would have set when you set your user details up.  If you cannot remember the password, please contact us and we will give you hints as to what it may be.  We will not tell you your password over the phone or via email.  Your privacy is very important to us, so please select a password hint that will genuinely remind you of your password.

Can I change my delivery details?

To speed up the purchase process, as a member you can provide a saved delivery address to appear on the delivery page.  You can edit or delete an existing address and also enter new addresses in this area.

Will the dvd’s you sell play in Australia?

Most of the dvd’s sold at hasifria are produced in Israel.  They are formatted in PAL and encoded for region 2 unless stated otherwise on our site.  Australian dvd’s are also formatted in PAL, but encoded for “region 4”.  As long as your dvd player is “multi-zone”, you will be able to enjoy endless hours of singing, dancing and entertainment.  Most dvd players sold since the late 1990’s would have had multi-zone capabilities.

What are the "regions"?

The “regions” are a security system introduced to dvd’s at the request of Hollywood’s major studios to ensure that dvd’s released and sold in one region will not play on dvd machines in other regions.  This allowed movie distributors to maintain control over release dates of their films, as well as enabling discs to be produced that conform to different censorship laws, language and subtitle requirements. 

When a dvd is manufactured, a region code is applied at the authoring stage such that the final disc will play only on those players distributed in the designated world region.  Having said this, most dvd players sold since the late 1990’s would have had multi-zone capabilities, and it is fairly standard for this feature to be available on all new dvd players.

There are 6 “regions” throughout the world:

Region 1 - Canada, United States and its Territories
Region 2 - Japan, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East
Region 3 - Southeast Asia and East Asia
Region 4 - Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Central and South America
Region 5 - Indian Subcontinent, Former Soviet Union and Africa
Region 6 - China

Regional codes are optional for the makers of dvd discs themselves.  The encryption system on each disc is the same.

My disc won’t work!

Quite often the cause of this can be due to discs that have been handled incorrectly (ie fingerprints or scratches on the read surface, discs forcibly removed from their casing causing cracks). It is most unusual for a disc to be faulty in any way when manufactured.  There are rare instances of faulty batches which usually result in product recalls. It is therefore imperative that you check for any of these problems before contacting us.

Occasionally discs have been found to not be compatible with certain dvd players which is why we encourage our customers to firstly check any problem discs on another brand of player.  Failing the above, please refer to our returns policy information.

Will dvd’s play on my computer?

Generally speaking all dvd’s play back on your home computer or laptop provided you have a DVD-ROM drive which is compatible with the region encoding of the disc.  Most computer monitors will display both the NTSC and PAL signals.  We do however advise you check your manual for verification before you proceed with purchase of dvd’s.
